I have an Axis. Great guitar. I do wish it had bigger frets. Also, the Floyd's radius is flatter than the fretboard radius, which causes uneven action, but I solved that by shimming the Floyd saddles. This guitar sounds huge! Here it is:
The tiny frets were the only reason I got rid of it. It had a great tone and felt really good to play. Just couldn't get along with the frets, especially in the higher register.

I hear ya, man. The neck on this guitar is so slick and comfortable, but I don't like the frets. I've very seriously considered getting a refret with 6105s or 6100s, but I'm not sure it'd be worth the trouble and expense.
