      Beautiful guitar, bro!!

Everything else was so perfect and fingerprint free my eye went right to that one pole. That really is a nice looking guitar, my vote is for no pickguard.

The rosewood fingerboard doesn't quite look right with that color. It seems like ebony would match better. I saw a tiger eye burst that looked simply amazing. I was afraid to grab it off the wall it looked so good.

Either way, hope you enjoy it. The thicker the neck, the better.

Wouldn't those specs make it a Studio? I never knew the older ones had no binding... To be honest I much prefer the Boneyards.

The odd pole piece shows me that Gibson didn't do a complete set up or even attempt to adj the pickup to where it sounded decent.I hope they cut the nut right.
              Nice looking guitar tho'
              Really? well screw Mark Twain.

                ???
The fact that the guitar is probably 10+ years old probably means that someone besides Gibson has set it up last...not to mention that the polepiece on the pickup being off a fraction of a turn from the others is going to have little to no effect on it sounding decent...

+1. This Joe Perry model is way cooler. The flamed Tiger Eye finish on the "Boneyard" sig model just doesn't do it for me.

I didn't mean for the pole alignment to be a real criticism. I did read in one of Dan E.'s books that there is a standard Gibson humbucker set up that ends up with all the pole crews aligned in a alternating diagonal pattern for asthetic effect, :
