Very similar to this pic. I asked him to put slightly more white in the pattern. All mahogany, 24.75 scale length, schaller tune-o-matic instead of the kahler. EMG 81's with the booster circuit, locking tuners, bound neck and headstock, jackson style. The SS will be replaced with lightning bolts but the skulls are staying.
wow that is a badass design, but it would be cooler if the skulls stayed small all the way down the fretboard, and just had dots in the higher frets.
either way, good call!
the guitar players look damaged - they've been outcasts all their lives
Did someone mention Rands? Here are 4 from my collection...
Early prototype, essentially a one hum Soloist copy:
A late prototype, built for Vivian Campbell and used for the Whitesnake video "Is This Love" and the tour for that album (up until his Kramer endorsement):
Here is an early '87 production model:
And finally, an early '88 production model, purchased new by myself in '88 at Sam Ash on 48th St. This one is my all time favorite guitar for hard rock/metal...it is perfection IMO. Here it is posing with my bullseye Charvel:

Is that the 27" scale 7 string Ibanez made for a while? I'd love one of those!
No, it´s the other 27" scale 7 string Ibanez made for a while
There were 2 Prestige versions, the 1077XL which I used to have, and the 2077XL, which this is. The difference is the 1077 had a Lo Pro Edge, and the 2077XL has an Edge Pro.. I think there was also a 7421XL or something like that, a cheapo baritone seven...
Some kind of Edwards don't know which model. It has sort of a two tone flip flop finish too. Won a Tokai V last night also. There is also a Bill Lawrence model here that looks sort of Rickenbacker-ish I am thinking about.
