What kind of BC Rich is this?

I'm no BC Rich expert but I'm guessing it's an Assassin. Does it say "made in USA " on the headstock? very cool guitar I've been craving one of those myself.

Looks like it has an ebony board and a seethru black finish ?, what pickups are in it?

Thanks! I didn't take the pics and I can't tell if it says USA or not. At least of the the pups is a Seymour Duncan. It does have an OFR and the inlays look like they might be abalone. The grain of the wood is weird looking too.

yeah those are abalone diamonds, I have the same inlays on my 7 string Mockingbird

Yep, that's right. It's a recent Assassin (hand-made). Nice one. There was a similar one on ebay a couple of months ago but with EMGs. Serial number will be on the last fret and that will give you the year of production.

I never noticed before but the horns on that body resemble an Ibanez RG. Nice looking ax

Well the guy packed it like a fucking tard so it's ruined. Took a shot to the headstock which cracked the neck a bit around the 2nd and 3rd frets and separated the fingerboard from the neck to about the 4th fret. Shipping company is coming by tomorrow to look at it
Hit a few shops today for estimates and the lowest was starting at $600, LOL
Anyway the SN is 21349, which makes it a 2001 USA I believe?
It's too bad because other than that it's nearly mint condition. It looks like a mahogany neck and body with a flame maple top and matching headstock. The floyd is weird though, i'll have to put up pics and lets you guys figure out what it is.

OMFG I'm sooo sorry to hear that. I take it he shipped it without a case then? I wont buy any guitars if their not coming in a case. Its just not worth the risk, and stress of waiting to see if it arrives intact.

The trems on my Richs are all BC Rich licensed Floyd Roses.

I mourn for your loss but hope you get your $ back cuz thats truly a shame.

Yep. The 349th guitar produced in 2001. Sad to hear the guy screwed it up. One reason why I will never do the ebay gamble again. As for the Floyd, it's probably the licensed (ala crappy) one. The OFR was an up-charge that some people were dumb enough not to choose...

Ok, I had a look at your pics and it says "Floyd Rose" on there but the posts don't match the colour of the hardware. Looks like someone has upgraded it at some point...
