      I am surprised the claim was approved actually. It was totally the shippers fault. He just put the guitar in a box that was too big with two wadded up balls of newspaper, pretty much no protection at all. Not even any fragile stickers. Had it been UPS I think they would have said too bad poor packaging and I would be screwed.
      I'm not sure whether to get it fixed or just scavenge the parts from it. If the neck had not been damaged you would think it was a brand new guitar. It's very very clean.

        Fix it man! Fix it! If you want the BEST guy for fixing a guitar like that, take it to Neal Moser: http://www.nealmoser.com/ I've had him do a couple of my guitars and they come out like brand-spanking-new afterwards. HIGHEST RECOMMENDATION ever! Plus he has soooo much history with BCR!!

          Please get it fixed-too many of these custom made guitars get thrown away because of repairable damage,and there are hundreds of kids dreaming of owning them,whatever the make of guitar
