i would assume original wizard, since that is what they came with, and since they put original edge bridges on them.
    GEAR:

some guitars...WITH STRINGS!!!! most of them have those sticks like on guitar hero....AWESOME!!!!

some amps...they have some glowing bottle like things in them...i think my amps do that modelling thing....COOL, huh?!?!?!

    and finally....

i have those little plastic "chips" used to hit the strings...WHOA!!!!

Only 550's huh... while I love the yellow, I hate pickguards.

Theres a huge thread over at the Jemsite forums saying these are probably legit. I for one am not overly impressed with these pics. Where are the cool crazy colors? Carotene Orange , Roadflare Red, neon pink etc.

Now if they did the cool colors and matching sharkteeth ( is that what their called) inlays and headstock those would truly be a cool guitars worth the price tag.

These bore me but if they are legit I guess I wont have to worry about gassing for one now.

"Sharkteeth", or whatever it's called is not an original RG feature. I think they look like shit personally, but that's just my opinion. As for the colors, yea, these are boring compared to the choices that were available back in 87.

As requested for you... Roadflare red! There's going to be a test later!

Thats not Roadflare Red in my eyes, thats plain red. Its got abit of pink to it.

You're right. But, keep in mind these pics are mock-ups and not the actual guitars. Hopefully, the guitars will actually look like they did originally.

Road flare red is crazy difficult to photograph correctly. I personally would love to see the sharkteeth and bound maple fretboards of the 770 DX's. They don't really need to be reissues of the '87 guitars. And as far as I know, only the yellow and black colors are certain at this point. The RFR is likely, and the green is a no chance.

I never thought I´d say this about a RG, but I´m actually slightly interested in a red or yellow one... but on the other hand there´s a solid 99% chance I´ll let them pass. However, it´s good seeing Ibanez releasing some other finishes than black or dark blue!

Says it has a "real" Wizard neck, yet in the pick it looks like a 3 piece... which is NOT a real Wizard neck.
Only "real" part about it is the dimensions, not the construction.

I still love that DSY finish though.

I remember I desperately lusted after an RG550 when they first came out. They were the first totally decent, moderately priced metal axe I remember. At $450 or so, they were a couple of hundred bucks cheaper than the Model 5/6, and the USA Jacksons back then were always kept high on the wall behind the counter so that young punks like me couldn't get their grubby paws on them.

It's cool to see Ibz doing these but, for me, I would get a 90s 550 with the AANJ and Lo-Pro trem (yellow of course!).
                              Unleash the fury.....Texas style!

Yeah, the original Wizards could be really fragile. They went with the three piece on the 20th for stability's sake. Should play and feel the same.
