My friend came over and he brought his Fender Stratocaster,but when he opened up the case, it wasn't a regular strat. Anybody ever seen one of these? If so, what is it? Thanks in advance.

That's interesting. I hadn't seen one of those. Just out of curiosity, what would someone have to do to install a floyd or other type of double locking tremolo on one.
I nocticed one of the string lock down screws (I'm assuming that's what it is) is missing below the adjustment nut someone has replaced with a floyd lock nut bolt.Comment

I had a Fender Katana with the same trem. The post spacing is different to that of the generic Floyd sizes, so fitting one would require fairly major surgery.
