  • What guitar is this? Wayne's World

Anyone know what guitar this is? It's the white one in this Wayne's World video. I thought it was an Ibanez Demon style 540 P or PII but after some searching, I'm not so sure it is. Anyway heres the link. Thanks

Those are sweet guitars. I was playing an Alveraz the other day (but not a scoop). Kinda ashame they were never more popular. They play and feel really nice.

They are pretty nice, really great necks. Trems were the only weak spot.

If the one I played was any idication, the spot where the Floyd Rose nut was screwed in was weak as well, probably due to the thin neck. It took a relatively minor fall off a hangar, and needed major work. It craked right through to the fretboard on both sides.

They actually played very good. I remember playing the one my guitar teacher had, and the neck on it was unbelievable. A Scoop is on my GAS list.

I have the Scoop version with a Modulus Graphite neck from the factory. I also had a white one w/maple like pictured above. The neck on the white one was narrow, didn't care for it, sold it. The graphite neck is wider and more comfortable. All I could find on google for a pic is this tiny one:

The guy that designed them lives and works in Delaware. DS music in newark, DE is the place. Last time I was there I saw a few scoops in the shop if anyone's interested. Call them up and ask for Dana. Most of the guys there are tools, but Dana's a good guy to deal with.
