I have decided to hold out until 2008 and start saving for the David Gilmour Signature Strat.

I am a huge fan of his (the Comfortably Numb solo is the reason why I picked up the guitar to begin with) and I'm really getting excited about the idea of a sig strat being made during my lifetime.

It's not going to be easy ( I really, really, really want a DK2M) so we'll just have to see how it goes.

I've got that in my '88 American Standard Strat already. It's a very sweet pickup system. That's it on the left.



But if Fender finally got Gilmour's permission to make one, I'm sure gonna get it. It's supposed to be the black one with the maple neck.

Just getting the shorter tremolo arm will be worth it by itself...

Yea your guitar with the DG set looks nice (as do the others) . Black with maple neck! That sure would be sweet. lets keep our fingers crossed.
