Is this RG550 bright enough for you?

Well I finally finished up pimping out this carotene orange Rg550 I bought from Mr. Graphic.

Originally it had a Duncan distortion in the bridge and stock ibz's. Swapped then out for an EMG 85 in the bridge and 81 in the neck. Put a blank cover over the middle single coil so it matched the Emg's. It also had a sunrise yellow pickguard and no tone knob. I added the neon yellow pickguard and matching headstock cover and finished it off with some colored logos.

Lol it was a pain to fit all the electronics and battery in this front loaded guitar.

Switched the knobs to metal domes instead of the older style. Now I have a crazy bright Rg to fend off my 20th anniversary RG Gas.

That's just cool as hell in my book! If that was mine I'd be playing some "New Thing" or "Fly High Michelle" with that baby. I wonder if anybody can tell that I'm an Enuff Z'Nuff fan?! Rest in peace Derek Frigo.

The neck has actually been "satinized" ( by a previous owner) to take off the the glossy coat that Ibanez put on their older necks. It just seems that the upper frets werent done so that is why it is cleaner because they still have that protective coat.

The neck really feels great this way. very fast

Yes the strap is uber cheezy and I will replace it if I can just find a neon yellow one
