Oh my God those US Masters are sweet They make some serious quality quitars. I had a Strat copy years ago in Lacewood body with the pao ferro board and birdseye neck and the quality was off the charts!! I sold it because the original owner had small frets on it. I would love to find one like the ones you had Jack.

Those are great! I remember seeing those from one of your other posts. I really like the snakeskin and the bengal. How did the necks compare on those gunslingers? Were they identical or did they vary in profile?

I have owned a few from the same era and they all were Identical. I could not feel a difference at all.

I couldn't tell the difference in any of them other than the Skull n Crossbones, which was a ClassAxe fiddle. Even the ST-3's were pretty much dead on to the Gunslinger's neck. They were "unfinished", but to me had the feel of a EBMM neck as far as the texture. Not quite as raw as J/C necks.

I loved those guitars - but very one dimensional - but then again, so am I!!

Yep - very sweet guitars. I sold those to get the Gunslingers! I wish I had kept the Bengal one - that was a custom axe built for a friend of mine who ended up not taking it because the endorsement deal they were working on fell through for about 8000 reasons. The frets were unique - I was always kind of on the fence about them.

Nice!! I have that exact same guitar except it has a single coil in the neck position. Otherwise, it would be hard to tell them apart. I was told that makes mine an assassin. But besides a slight variation on the snakeskin pattern.......it is EXACT. I was also told that mine is probably an 87 model, but I don't know how accurate the guy was. He was from some online BC Rich website. These old USA BC Rich's do play very nice. I bet you love the neck!

Congrats on a sweet snakeskin! I actually had first dibs on it but decided to pass as I had some personal things going on. I'm sure I'll regret it.......
                            Unleash the fury.....Texas style!

I too have a snakeskin (although blue) with a single in the neck, that appears to be all original from the factory. I've often wondered if those were truely part of the assassin line or a mutant of the Gunslinger line:
