You could always get a Washburn N4, N5 or N6 (NUNO). I know Washburn wasn't on your list but they are US built and are super guitars.

Why bother?:ROTF: :ROTF: :ROTF: You know I had to say it. Big Bucks has little to do with how a guitar feels in your hands. Yadda, Yadda, Yadda
I am a true ass set to this board.

Here ya go. www.guitarandpickup.com Check out any of the luxurious models. I have one on order and have talked to a few other people that own these. They are on the same line as Suhr and Anderson. You guys have to get this made in the USA crap out of your heads. There are a bunch of companies outside the USA that make guitars just as good or better.

I forgot to mention that the site is slow. The longer you stay on the faster it gets. Buy the way the guitars I mentioned are $1300 plus $190 shipping. Now if thats not a GREAT price. If that was made in the USA it would be at least $2500.

I had forgotten about those! I may buy one of their PRS copies.

                What's AA?

                SL4 = MIJ

+1 on the Suhr Pro Series: simply the best bang for the high-end buck.

Well I've started searching seriously. Due to me probably gettign a job, I've pushed my range to about $2000, and I'll probably buy mid to late summer as thats around my birthday, and I can probably get a $100 from mom and dad to help me out On my list (this will narrow greatly as I slowly try ones out and mark them off):

                      Gibson Explorer Standard
Dean Dimebag Razorback (who knows what model lol)
                      Jackson SL1
                      Ernie Ball Music Man Axis
                      ESP KH2
                      Jackson PC1
                      Suhr Pro Series
                      PRS CE 22
                      Peavey HP Special USA

+1 EBMM Petrucci with the piezo pickups in the Trem. Mine came in today and I can't put it down. (well, enough to take a break and type this) Pics to come along with a write up. An amazing instrument in balance, fit, finish and playability!

Used Suhr guitars seem to go quite reasonable on EBay around $1500-1700.
                              They are great.
