It should br a real Floyd Rose trem. And Duncan pickups. IE JB and 2 vintage staggered singles. The plate sounds legit. This is however a Japenese made Instrument. mAde by ESP and then assembled in the U.S. If its in good shape and plays good go for it. They have nice necks.

Thanks for the input. Ill have to do some more checking on this one! Its a ways away but a friend can have it brought in its at a chain of pawns. Bonus is that my friend bought it and will give it to me at 10% over cost if its worth a damn!

Yeah, there has never been a Pacer reissue, although Gibson now owns the Kramer name and has a new line of Pacers that are nowhere near the quality of the originals. They are actually part of Kramers lowend line and can be had for $89. They have reissued the 85 Baretta and the Sambora, with plans to reissue the Nighswan. Kramers new site is www.musicyo.com

You can check out www.vintagekramer.com for more specifics on the Krame Pacer guitar or if you have specific questions regarding kramers you can join www.kramerforum.com they can help with any Kramer questions that you have.
              Damn, I love this Interweb.

Those japanese American-series Kramers are very good, and just about every model except for the coveted Stagemaster Archtop is also an exceptional value. The same goes for the old Focus-series, also made by ESP iirc.

I remember back in the day my sister owned one of these. It seemed like a pretty decent quality guitar, very solid build and craftsmanship, original Floyd, decent pickups , even had the banana headstock .

The only thing that annoyed me was it had a somewhat thick baseball-like neck which I couldnt get used to it. Too thick for my tastes.

But I would say go for it if you can get it for a good price and it's an older original one.
