and not just because i'm on a Keith kick.

but they're super versatile, the neck pickup is super amazing to my ears clean, and there's something about that bridge pickup and the whole guitar really, that set it worlds apart from a strat.

and thats just the sound qualities we're talkin'.

i'd grab a tele.

Well, I have enough Fender Strats. In your case, I would go for a Tele. Just a very nice natural finish maple fretboard Tele. I will own one one of these days.

Fett has enough strats, so you should buy a tele.

Another vote for a Tele here.

I'm very spoiled to the Strat body and especially the contoured back. When I play a tele it feels like the body is pushing back at me, due to the lack of contour.

So I vote Strat.

The gheyest thing iI could think of would be a contoured Tele. Regarding the axes you have - get a Tele














and then a strat.

thank man, yeah that is a Warmoth birdseye neck I put on there, plays amazing. and with the full gloss on it, the figuring pops right out.

the background is actually an antique Japanese screen painting that I have in my jam room / office.

I have both, but prefer Tele's for rock. Get a 22 fret American Dlx (or similar) Tele, put a Dimarzio Chopper T in the bridge, and I guarantee you will have one of the sweetest sounding guitars ever...
