i was the seconod guy to email a local craigslist ad for a gibson les paul Recording for $50.

Exchanged a few emails with the guy, the pickups had been swapped out with humbuckers and kind of a home job. Still might have been nice for the price.

I really don't need another odd duck project anyway....

Yeah, but for 50 bucks, even if you did not like it some easy money could have been made if you sold it on ebay.
