'82 Hamer Vector repainted.

This killer old Hamer arrived to me with a nasty break in the headstock and neck. I tackled the repair myself but wanted someone else to paint it for me in a Rhoads polka dot scheme. It's almost finished, pickups and decal only remain to be installed. As you can see, I eliminated the floyd nut holes through the neck(thanks Newc!). Before & after pics..








The repair is rock solid and the guitar plays great. Ths neck profile is Hamer's medium version...very comfy and fast.

It was one of the guys from a local body shop, a friend of a friend. He only charged me $225 as it was his first guitar.

I forgot to add that my holy grail of Hamers is a 1 Hum Chaparrel-some day Also, I use to own a Vector years ago, what an awsome git Jack.
