Perhaps I'm missing something, or am misinformed...but I always thought
that the body cutaway for your abdomen was a Charvel/Jackson thing???
Perhaps copied by other manufacturers in the 90s?
Son Of Spy1976 Gibson Mk53
1988 Charvel Model 3
1993 Jackson Dinky Reverse (DR5)
Questions are a burden to others; answers are a prison for oneself.

I don't think so. My Chandler has "Chandler" stamped on the neck pocket, and the cavity route is like that of a San Dimas Charvel. He DID say it was a Chandler neck. I'd check the neck pocket face. Is it flat like a Tele or round like a Strat? My Chandler body had a flat face, when I got it.I'm not Ron!

It's about average weight. Not too heavy. Whatever it is, it's really nice. Paul C's neck, oldschool Grovers, zebra JB, MINT old Floyd(not even wear on the fine tuners) and sound killer and has sustain like a Les Paul! Original V-Trem body with black shielding paint in the cavity, Which by the way looks untouched and soldered by a pro. There is nothing in the neck pocket accept 2 holes to hold the paint stick for painting.
All of my Chandlers had the SD style route also, could this be even earlier or something else?
