Looks like Gibson is doing some sort of a guitar of the week thing. The shot also cycles through on the Gibson homepage. It's still one of my favorite finishes ever.

That's a cool guitar. I saw that yesterday. They need to do more of this type of thing. Some of the new stuff they've been doing with finishes and body alterations lately is rediculous.

When I saw Mastadon/Converge the other night, I saw 4 Silverburst's in action. One guy played a SB Les Paul and a SB Explorer, and the other guy played a SB V and a SB Moserite copy made by First Act. I had a SB LP Custom about 10 years ago. I paid $900 for it and thought it was alot. Now everybody wants about 3k for one!
