  • My new Ibanez

It's a black Japanese Roadstar II RG110. Made about 1986. $72. It's a single hum. The neck is thin and awesome. But that's not why I'm posting. I took the pick guard off and it is routed for 3 humbuckers. If you like Roadstars and are going to change the pups anyhow get an RG 110. They are a lot cheaper than the muti-pup ones and the body route allows you to do anything.

The only downside is that it's one of those the have the cord plug into the pickguard. As long as you can live with that, the mod potential is wide open.

I once had an RG110. I got mine for $125CDN with a HSC, and it ruled. It was one of the best elcheapos ever. The bridge kind of blew though. Mine had the Ibanez take on the non-locking trem. It wasnt bad, but it wasnt good either..........

That's what they make drills for.

I'm too lazy to do that. But for $72, I may take a shot at relocating. I can always sell the neck. It's beautiful. Kinda tiger striped with such a nice aged patina. Just oiled the rosewood board. And check out Budman's Ibanez thread on what the neck looks like.

I know you did. It's just black with a beautiful neck that the pictures won't do it justice.

No it's this. http://cgi.ebay.com/Ibanez-Roadstar-...QQcmdZViewItem It looks much better live. Mine has a rosewood board. And here is a great example where bad pics got a lesser price.

The thriftstore didn't have a wide selection of models or paint jobs.:ROTF: :ROTF: :ROTF: It weighs under 8LBS.
