Fender Neck Plate ?

Hey do I need a Neck plate Guard
for my Fender Stratocaster ?
I got a neck plate but it did not come with a
guard and I do not know if I need one or not.

Nope... not needed.
Very few manufacturers actually use them.

He's right. The only other thing I would suggest is make sure the screws you use are the correct length.
