Jeff Beck neck was thinner? I thought they had massive necks....

Yeah, the Jeff Beck necks (original version) were MUCH larger than the Claptons. The Beck model also had more output (louder?) than the Clapton as it had a bridge humbucker (actually two gold Lace Sensors wired as a humbucker) so it looks like the leprechan has everything reversed...that guitar would actually be the thick necked, quieter guitar if you swapped necks between a Clapton and Beck model.
I'm sure Ed has a stupid price on it, as he really doesn't care if he sells unique pieces. He'll put a ridiculaous price on an item and just sit on it...if it sells, great; if not, no big deal, its still a part of his collection.
Hell, the guy wants $7500 for an autgraphed Ibanez RBM-2...can you say insane? I'm sure this will carry a much larger price tag than a Reb Beach autographed guitar.

I love how right under the pic of the strat, there's a pic of him playing his Les Paul.

Ed Romans prices are a little crazy at times, I wanted to change the neck size on boutique guitar from him and he wanted an extra $500.00 and the old neck on a already expensive $4500.00 guitar. I could keep the old neck and buy a new neck for less from another company, needless to say I didn't buy the guitar.
