Here's a debatable opinion:

-American Universities have gone down the tubes, and will give a degree to any semi literate that ponies up the dough.

Speeking from experience? Hell, I thought that was just for the Internet degress...it you actually show up they stick a thing in your head like "Matrix"..45 minutes and you've mastered Juditsoo.
With exceptions of course, i.e. McDonald's University (don't coun't!) "ahhhhhhhh-Special sauce then bun, sauce then bun, sauce then bun, sauce bun, sauce bun...okay I think I'm ready to give it another try......." I heard 7-11 College of Magizine Sales and Lottery Ticket Technology is got a great program in 6-Sigma Based Candy Bar Quality Evaluation and Measurement.
Ya know, does GIT still exist...I did some clinics there back in early 1990's...they were preddy well done (really).

it's funny how some people just cannot, or refuse to, get along, and insist on continuing to push their not-very-relevant point regardless of the reception it receives.

if you don't like what you see on internet guitar forums, just type in a new url and go to another site. insisting and insisting with dripping sarcasm that the forum content should be other than what it happens to be (given the many differing points of view and maturity levels of those who post at any forum, including here) accomplishes nothing other than to ostracize one's self.

this is one of the more mature guitar forums around. it does not get much better than this. just saying.

There is waaaaaay too much vested interested spamming. Don't go getting in my face (or anybody's) face for pointing it out. How many people would've jumped at the $50/thread or a free guitar/thread, how many people would jump at less, or more?

Man, I got no problem calling a spade a spade.....

I could post an e-mail from GiXXon Exec asking me to plug GiXXon on the "forums". I know they're pulling that with other people, too. Why would I be any different? My response was "go fukc yourself". I guess that's when it clicked...coincidentally...tons of posts go up from "members" pimping corp adjenda's. Call me a troll...ironic.

On the flip side, how many people get booted off a forum for posting comments or information contrary to a forums target manufacturer. I could post up some court papers that are 100% legit and I'd get banned on even before they would load onto your e-machines screen. NOT planning to do that!

Market or get marketed too....? Biased and polarized....take it for what it's worth.
This forum is probably better, I guess. Sure you could go after me, I'll just end up getting a chuckle out of the whole thing. I'm just a dood killing some dead time on the 'puter with no vested interest in what anybody buys. My opinions are 100% impartial opinions. So, I guess I'm down for trolling if that's what you want to call it. Trollllllllllllllll-on!
