Anyone have a pic of the current Carvin Ultra V? I seem to recall it had dot inlays, right?

        I'd go for the Carvin.
I have a DC and were it not for their unavailability here, I'd have a couple more. Truly amazing guitar!
I'll HAVE to look into getting me an Ultra-V...

          Sanctuary,

You can get them built to spec with dots, diamonds, blocks (abalone or MOP), or no inlays, your choice of fretboard wood (maple, rosewood, or ebony), and lots of other customizable options.

            +1 ... I have an Ultra V

I thought the RR24 black w/yellow very cool and was gassin for one, but for the ebay one at $1225 + $79 for case free ship, I'm at $1304, too much to justify as I need the neck pickup and I have too many 1 hum guitars that never get gigged as it is.

For fun, I just 'created' an Ultra V on the carvin website:
            Floyd (+$80)
            Gold hardware (+$30)
            M22SD Bridge, H22N neck pickup swaps (+$15)
            jumbo 6100 frets (+$15)
            flame maple headstock overlay (+$25)
body deep purple on flame maple (+$120)
            hard case ($49)
            $1152.99 with shipping

I'd have to go with the Carvin only because I have vowed that, unless I undergo some unforseen change in taste, I will not buy any more guitars with floating bridges.
