  • Warmoth-Tele

I finally put together something I´ve been thinking of for a couple of years.
This is a Hollow Warmoth Tele, one piece swamp ash with a one piece swamp ash top wich I did an oil-finish on.
Satin finished maple neck with a beautyful Kingwood fretboard.

Planet Waves auto trim tuners that are awesome and every vintage lovers nightmare, an Earvana nut
I haven´t recieved the 4-way switch yet so it´s not wired up, but acoustically it sounds truly great, powerful and with great sustain.
It´s quite lightweight wich was kind of important for me and has comfort contoures like a Strat.
Pickups are from Lundgren in Sweden.

Ok, are you ready for a little picture-overkill

how well does the Earvana nut work? I'm considering getting trying one out.

Very cool. Traditional, the way I like a Tele.

                Nice Telecaster.

My Ideal Telecaster would have 1 humbucker pickup in bridge, single pickup in neck, No Pickguard, non-recessed OFR, 1 volume knob, 24-fret maple fretboard and a pointy headstock Ofcourse, The Guitar will be a metallic black. Telecasters look good in black in my opinion (even with a black pickguard)

Since this guitar isn´t intonated yet I don´t know, I don´t have any tuner allowing me to do that without a chord, and I really don´t have that good of an ear to intonate without a tuner
Part of why I chosed one for this guitar is the intonation-problems with a 3 saddle Tele bridge. I guess I will see if it helps after intonation, but if it´s hard to intonate I probably buy some of those compensated bridge saddles.
I have an LTD EC1000 wich has the Earvana stock, but I haven´t really thought much about it.
