Ibanez S620EX1 GC

Just arrived at GC, an S620EX1 in their exclusive blue/black/gray swirl.
Two designed by EMG hums, ZR trem, Korea
Walked in to GC today to see if they had anything cool, girlfriend sees this and says "that's cool you should get it"

Man thats a cool finish. I had one but it was all black (sold it). The Z trem on those are nice. If I remeber correctly, they came with a screw that you can use to intonate it that's mounted on the opposite side of the trem hole.

If the headstock said Jackson I'd be all over it! hehe jk

most korean guitars I've played have been quite good quality. sometimes the hardware needs replacing but my exp with korean manufacture has been good.

How's the ZR trem? I'm seriously considering sticking it in my RR over a floyd, since I'm going to have to do lots of routing anyway, and it seems pretty superior in most ways.

Saw one of these in person and thought it was a rather cool/good looking guitar. Just disappointed that Ibanez is making fewer and fewer guitars in Japan

That is a cool looking guitar for sure. I don't really care for super thin necks, but every time I see an RG or S at the store I want to buy it... They definitely have it going on in the looks department.

Don't be too put off by Korean made guitars either. I have a Schecter C7 BlackJack that is perfect. The frework, sound, and playability hang with all my other guitars.

Nice looking guitar from a few feet tho upclose it seems a little to 'real' for me.
