Not sure what you'd call super thin regarding the neck. This one is in Jackson/Charvel territory on thickness.

    Here's some measurements I took:
    2007 Ibanez S620EX1
    Nut width 1.7"
    thickness 3rd fret 0.773"
    thickness 12th fret 0.836"

For reference, other guitars I have:
2006 Charvel USA MAH strathead 1hum
    Nut 1.7"
    3rd 0.764"
    12th 0.842

2006 Charvel USA MAH Strathead H/S
    Nut 1.7"
    3rd 0.754"
    12th 0.824"

    2006 Jackson RR1T
    Nut 1.7"
    3rd 0.775" (spec from website is 0.79")
    12th 0.840" (spec is 0.85")

Played the S620EX tonight, very comfortable neck, nice balance, and the new 'designed by EMG' passive pickups sound great, better than the -HZs. I always coil tap my neck humbuckers and the result was a very nice clean single-coil sound. The ZR trem is very nice. Stayed in tune and felt very smooth.

Guitar Center's latest flyer shows this guitar on Page 9. Mentions the body is Mahogany. They also say only 250 were made. Retail is $1299.99 tagged at $649.99 with their 50% of March sale. I paid less.

      It's a very nice guitar.
