I wonder what it is that kept Gibson from routinely using FR (style) trem on many of the production models? I remember the US1's and WRC's got them but not much else.
I had a chance to play the Neal Schon LP and it was FANtastic. What a shame...you want a neck-thru LP with a Floyd (and a sustainer, no less) and it's gonna cost you $8500.
You'ld think with all the crapola like BFG's there pimping, I could at least get an Explorer or a Les Paul Standard with a Floyd...at least without having to take out the router!

The body is thinner on these Custom Lites . Trem block is standard .

Nice! I thought I would alway play Les Pauls until I tried Jacksons which I prefer because of the thin unfinished neck and Floyd

My Dream Les paul would have a non-recessed OFR
