I think with a Tunamatic bridge and a better headstock design and a floyd version, this guitar would be a big hit!! I would buy one with subtle changes.

I always pick this one up when I'm at the guitar store.. same deal, but dual EMGs



It plays and sounds awesome, but it is so ugly.. I can't stomach the grey body, rosewood neck and grey headstock.. and yes, it needs a floyd.

Would installing a real Floyd on this possible? I'm curious.

450$ for the guitar
200$ for a Floyd
??? Labor for installing the Floyd

That sounds still a good cheap guitar to my wallet...

And if the neck on this plays as good as on my Godin LG Signature... I'm sold... I need to try one...

For that much cash, you could get a Carvin that would kick the living shit out of that guitar. It would even go back and stomp that guitars balls, and then laugh at it and kick it when its down.............

Can not comment on the Godin vs Carvin quality... I've never owned a Carvin but do have a Godin LG Signature. It's quite a good guitar. Plays well and sounds awesome.

But by looking on Carvin's web site, their guitars do also have a fugly headstock and the models in stock are not that cheap...
