Quest.....heard of em??

Anyone here heard of Quest guitars & basses?
I had a Quest classic series bass and it kicked ace......painted neck, killer double cutaway....still kicking myself 10 years later for letting it go and would love to find another.......

They were an offshoot of Vantage back in the early 80s before Vantage became a Korean brand......

My friend played a Quest, Manhattan series around '85. They had some great, original designs at the time, as did other Japanese manufacturers such as Daion. The quality wasn't there but it sure beats a sea of PRS clones.
