  • About the Taylor T5

    Is it a Acoustic or not in other words can it be playd unpluged
    I wont a new acoustic and I really like the looks of the Taylor T5.

    I believe it can be played unplugged. I need to head to the local GC and check it out.

        It can be played unplugged, but if you want a true acoustic then this isn't for you. The T5 is a great guitar but it's more of an electric than an acoustic IMO. Try one out before you buy it and make sure that what you want.

          Yeah I got to looking at them and they are too high in price for me
          I diden't think they cost that much but on eBay they are like $1.000 and up
          so I was hopeing for like $250.00 and down so thanks for the help.

            The T5 is classified as an electric guitar. But, since the body is fully hollow the top is a true sound board. So, you can get acoustic sounds, they're just not as loud as an all acoustic guitar. The beauty of it is for players who need amplified acoustic sounds, like me. Oh, and who don't like traditional acoustic guitars, again like me.
