Gibson SG On eBay.

Hey I'm buying a Gibson SG I think. It got smashed in shipment and it needs
a new neck. The neck around the 3rd frett is cracked really bad and has a small hole and also it's missing a inlay. It's also brand new the hummbuckers work great and looks really nice it's really cheep and stuff.

So what do you guys think? should I go for it or not.

I think that these are really bottom of the line and should be cheap enough without being broken.

I think I'd try to find one that is not beat up. A new neck will probably cost more than the guitar is worth.

Education series usually refers to school band or classroom type instruments.Not that bad but certainly not that good either.You can do a lot better unless you want to make a clock or lamp out of it.

I would advise buying an Epiphone SG Standard before one of those.
