  • My almost Martin guitar

    I just got this gem for $35. It was made by a guy named Joseph W. Hanson in 1965. It's just cool. Looks like a Martin. X-braced like one. Grover tuners. Ebony board. Headstock like a Martin. It has a desert crackle finish. You should see the checking in person. I'll post more pics if anyone cares.

    Wow,does it play and sound "expensive?"

    I think it might sound good.I'll put 10 dollars on the table for that

      Don't laugh. It is every bit as well made as a Martin. Check out the inlays. This could be a very cool guitar considering a Martin from the era goes for about $4,000. It's a dreadnought and the closest model is a D-28. That's a real spuce top.

              Exactly my point. I couldn't find anything on the Hanson guy, but he made a fine guitar.
