Crazy 7-string deal!

I bought one of these 3 years ago for $199, and that was a great deal. For $99, it's a no-brainer! Nice neck, although chunkier than a Ibz (I had a 7420 before it). But the pups are much better than the 7420.

Thanks for posting this! It was too good to pass up, especially with free shipping. I bought a cheap Washburn bass years ago, and it was actually really nice, so I'm hoping for the same this time around.

2. I don't have a 7 yet
3. Cheap

Con:
1. I don't need it at all
2. I guess there a pretty big chance something wrong with it right? I don't want to bother with sending stuff back, recieving wrong items etc..

I'm torn too. $99 is ludicrous, and I don't have a 7-string. I don't need one, but it would be fun to screw around with. I wish it was set net or neck thru.

Isn't Music123 in bankputcy? Buyer beware. You could get charged for something and receive nothing, and then be SOL in bankruptcy proceedings.

I sent an RR1 back to Music123 in the fall, and they jerked me around about the refund. I had to contest the charge with my CC company, and the bank stepped up. I strongly suspect Music123 was trying to run out the clock and keep my $$$. I'll never do business with them again. Even at $99 buyer beware! Remember the ZW Epis?

I bought the black one when they were $179. They dropped the price to $139 so I called and they credited my card back the difference. As far as the guitar goes, it's really pretty nice, for the price it's a steal. I say jump on it!

$99.. Even my wife thought it was a good deal. I had an extra $100 for a practice amp but I've always wanted a seven string to noodle around on...I am excited!

I bought one when they were 199 and thought it was well worth the price. It needed the fretboard cleaned and the frets polished a bit but other than that it was a good guitar. It has decent pickups and a nice neck joint just like Ibanez's AANJ so you can access the upper frets easily. I sold mine only because I got an Ibanez RG7621 but at that price I might buy another one as a backup guitar!

Between the maple neck, real rosewood board, and an alder body, you definitely can't go wrong at that price - just ordered one myself. Thx for the heads up!

It now says "Expect in 2-3 Weeks" for the Metallilc Gray model. How can they expect more in 2-3 weeks if this model has been discontinued? Does Washburn have a stockpile to which only music123 has access?
