I love it when people post pics of their collections and I had the day off today, so I thought I'd take a few group shots, since my collection has changed so much over the past several months. I'm down to 1 Jackson and 1 Charvel, and up to 5 Ibanezes, so it seemed appropriate to post this in the "Guitars by Other Manufacturers" section.
First, just the JEMs. 7VHW, 10th and 77 BRMR:
My 10th has a Fernandes Sustainer installed, along with one of the new DiMarzio Chrome Top Evolutions replacing the original bridge pickup, which was plated plastic and was peeling badly. My 7VWH and 77 BRMR are bone stock, but I have a custom neck ordered for the 77 BRMR, because IMO, a JEM deserves Ebony and a vine inlay.
Now add the RGs. 520SM and 2120KKB:
The RG520SM is actually an RG520QS, but I had the Quilted Sapele (QS) top replaced with Spalted Maple (SM).
The RG2120KKB is a Japan-only model, with a Koa top. I replaced the neck with the one you see on it now which has, you guessed it, an Ebony board and a vine inlay. The neck it came with was really nice but too thick for me.
And finally, add in the JCMI contingent. PC1 and SD1:
The PC1 is bone stock. The SD1 has a gold OFR and pickup rings but is otherwise stock. I am seriously considering getting a Musikraft neck for the SD1 to give it a true Strat-head and an Ebony board, but every time I play it, I decide not to, as the original neck is very nice. I traded a really nice American Strat Deluxe which I miss a lot for the SD1, but I wouldn't give up the SD1 for anything. A replacement Strat Deluxe will be my next acquisition, though.
