Variax 300 price increase..

I noticed the variax price went up on the MF site. It was 299 for the red one, now it's 499. So I went to the GC site and it was still 299. I called MF and had them price match it. I wanted one of these to deal with multiple alternate tunings. I already have a Podxtl so it seemed like a no brainer for 299. Just thought I'd let you guys know that the price seems to be going back up.

Just the electronics are probably worth the 300 bucks. I might wind up getting the warmoth neck and body for it later.

I did. I got the warmoth body and I already had a really great warmoth neck. it plays so much better than the variax neck/body.
