  • Opinions on Nash Guitars?

Looking for a strat type sound, I like the look of a relic; but really these guitars are just parts guitars with an aged finish. Would I be better off just by finding a new/used american strat? I hear they're fairly hard to get ahold of? Do the Nash's have a similar feel/sound to the real thing? I'm trying to keep the price within $1500 cad. I'm hopin to head down to a dealer that carries them next week, hopefully they have something in stock.

I used to have the shell pink E-type on his gallery page. I supplied all of the hardware. His set-ups are done in mind for a shred guitar. I wiped off the baby poo pickguard aging. I buffed up the finish with toothpaste. They look fake. Out of all of the fakers, you can spot a Nash a mile away. It was a killer player after another set up, but I could never get past the strange 'nitro' finish he uses.

Try a K-line, This is their main dealer; http://www.gravitystrings.com/

Nash guitars are overpriced and overhyped. I have played a few.

i've never played a nash guitar, but it seems like they get mixed reviews on the different messageboards.
why not give anderson or melancon a try?
