That's kinda what I was thinking, but I HATE putting new holes in a guitar, especially if I'm not sure it'll work. I'll have to experiment with it a little.

You could go attach weights to the back end of the strap. If you weight down the strap on that end it will act as a counterweight to the heavy neck. Of course that strap will need to be wedded to the guitar, but it'll work and no new holes.

EDIT: Oh, I see you moved the strap button. Cool, but keep in mind for future a weighted strap will also work.
