  • Cheepie Washburn 7

Not bad for $99.00 shipped, thanks to those who posted this up the other day. Pickups are a bit weak and the finish is obviously not custom shop but I'm set back at what a steal this was. I'm not much of a seven stringer but what the hell, at 99.00 shipped, this will be a great recording tool, I'm sure lol!

    Some quickie pics for you!

I wanted one, filled all the online stuff in only for it to come up at the end with "sorry this item cannot be shipped to the uk"
So I won a Squire Stagemaster 7 string on the Bay yesterday instead.

Nice looking axe Dave. I really like the color of your red one but black was my first choice

I am totally infected by the 7 string bug now...... I absolutely love it
Now I know what I have been missing all this time

that' why the only guitar I've been playing for the last last month is my Carvin Dc727C.
I've had the 7 string bug for almost a year now.
when you're ready to spend some cash on a real 7 I highly recommend checking out the Carvin 7's.
If this is our perdition, will you walk with me?

My metallic grey Washburn was waiting for me when I stopped home at lunch. I only had a few minutes to unbox it and plug it in to make sure all was well, so no pics yet, but it arrived intact and just needed to get tuned. The action is a bit low for my tastes, but everything else seems fine. It definitely sounds better than the low-end Ibanez RG-whatever that I tried at GC a couple months ago, and the neck is surprisingly comfortable.

I received mine as well a couple of days ago. I ordered the metallic grey - and I was very suprised at the build quality. After a new set of strings, it plays pretty good. The headstock even has a little flame as well. Easily the best $100 guitar purchase I've made
