I worked a Night Ranger show about a year ago, Those guys are so down to earth. Brad carries his red Fender guitar around with him everywhere he goes in a gig bag. We had a good time back stage before and after the show. Brad had asked he if I knew anybody that had any vintage guitars and I told him I had a bunch of Charvels and Jackson. That wasn't what he was looking for. lol In the guitar techs rack of guitars there was a Model 1.
Very nice! For some reason I always liked the looks of a pickup ring on a pickguard. It gives it a slightly modded look. Is that an old-school Floyd or a Fernandes trem?

Old-school Floyd, I got raped on Ebay for it but it works great.
cool! does that old Floyd have fine tuners, or is it pre-fine tuners? how does that work if it doesnt have tuners? just curious
No tuners. You tune it and lock. You may have to re-tune a little here and there until the strings stretch, but once they have stretched these have really good stability. Mine almost never goes out of tune.

Sleep. The sound doesn't collapse to riffs of early eyes either.
