    :ROTF:

I've had this for 15 years or so, and finally put it back together. It's a Charvette 270RR (Fusion), not a Jackson. Plywood body. Gotoh pickup from my old NJ Series Bich. brass knobs from a Washburn HM20-V. I added the tone control myself, but it's not even hooked up anymore, and neither is the 5 way, or the single coils. Real Schaller logo Floyd. No strap buttons yet, cus I just haven't gotten around to it. Plays like buddah, and sounds great with the Gotoh pickup.

Laugh all you wan't, but years ago when I sold almost all my gear, I kept 2 guitars. This one, and my Yamaha Weddington, and I played this one all the time, including many live shows.

I need to make a bone nut for it, and re-install the original JT6 lock-nut.

So lets see pics of everyone else's beloved beaters then.

    Here is mine

The bengal is a mutt as far as I know. This is what I do know - Kahler pro( needs hook replaced), Seymour duncan distortion pickup, schaller tuners, probably fender neck maybe Japanese or USAmade, kahler lfloyd style locknut ( missing one lock) and maybe a esp body( lots of dings and 2 big chips). I just sanded the neck and tung oiled it. It's a beater but it maybe one of my best players when I'm done.
The other is a 93 Jackson Dinky XL. Lots of chips on the back of the body and it needs the trem post replaced and its needs a middle pickup. But it has a SD screamin demon in the bridge and a ton anderson in the neck and the trem is a Schaller.
$160 for the bengal and $127 for the jackson.
    I love ebay!

It's a US strat, but for whatever reason, it doesn't say USA on it. It has matching dates, and a US SN, but who knows. I put like a bunch of parts of on it, and changed a bunch of stuff. It's great. I beat on it, and it loves it.

Thanks! I was going to part those 2 out and sell the parts but they played so well I have to keep'em.

I also just picked up a beater usa peavey patriot for $150 but no pics yet.
