I'm heading to Vegas Friday morning, I thought about trying to check out Ed Romans store out there. I know he has some negative qualities people like to point out, but would it be worth while checking out the store or should I just avoid it?

Def. worth going to the store just to look around.
There will be lots of boutique stuff you won't
likely find together all under one roof anywhere
else.

Fakes. The ironic thing is HMG/HHI (or whoever the fuck owns BC Rich at the moment) knows this is going on and do nothing about it. He even had the nerve to advertise NEW body blanks on his website when BCR only ship him fully-finished guitars.

I hope it was "Along while Back"? Geez...the guy can hardly walk, much
less stand! His lower legs are about 30" in diameter! Now if you kicked
his ass 18 years ago...then... For me, ive been in his store 3 times in the last 14 months. Each time i was treated well, from 3 or 4 of his
other salespeople. I only said "hi" to Ed once, and he said hi back!
Was this a miracle? :ROTF: But i was allowed to take about 1/2 hour
of video, all around that store, and it was amazing. Didnt buy anything,
but several "on the wall" Jems..(Ibanez Discontinued) were in great shape!
There certainly isnt another Guitar store with that much eye candy.

Ed makes Jem "kits". Some of what you see hanging on the wall is his handy work and not real Ibanez Jems'.
His RG kits are not bad, but they are not real.
The guy is a forger plain and simple.
Sure he sells legit stuff, but it makes one question every guitar you see hanging on the wall.

I don't care for him. As far as I am concerned he should be kicked again several times. I base this solely on the feedback from this board on him and quite frankly I am inclined to believe he is the evil leprechaun incarnate. I hope he dies heinously in some hideous guitar related accident....rant off....bit of insomnia tonight...little bit harsh....regards.
