I bid and won one of those VW First Act Garagemaster guitars. I like the way it looked and I figured for $120.00 I can't go wrong. If it's crap I'll list it on the bay. They seem to be going for around the $200-300 range. I snagged mine last minute, hence the low price.

Anyone had any experiences with them?

Hey I'll kinda like the idea of buying GHS Boombers for less than $4 bucks while you pickup the groceries. Hell I'll even have the wife pick them up for me while she's out shopping at WalMart.

Yeah I picked up some GHS Boomers from Walmart a couple of weeks ago. Not a bad price.

Still waiting to receive the guitar, but I'll be sure to post some pics and give a brief review. From my understanding it is nothing like the POS guitars they sell in Walmart, but who knows.

i can tell you first hand that they're not like the $99 wal mart guitars. i'd put them in the realm of a samick or something to that extent.
