Godin Acousticaster reviews?

Anyone here seriously play one? I got my hands on one the other night...unplugged, so I didn't really get a good chance to hear it. It felt great but I've read some mixed reviews. Does anyone here have one?

The worst reviews I read stated the preamp screw holes were jacked up. The best reviews mentioned the feel of the neck.

I need something that sounds really acoustic...not simulated but yet something that feels like an electric since I like to barre in the upper register.

Any thoughts? Thanks!

a few years ago, i played an electric/acoustic nylon string godin and it was an excellent guitar. i plugged it in a few times and really liked how it sounded.
