OK so I got the news back from Blackmachine that they still are not doing Floyd Roses or any type of that style of bridge. And they still want about $3800.

So I contacted Ed at Suhr and guess what - they have decided to get competetive with the 24 fret market. Instead of taking the current design and just adding 24 frets they are changing the BODY STYLE & NECK HEEL !!!

They are going after the Ibanez/ESP/Jackson crowd with a slick neck heel and more pointed and elongated body horns.

That did it for me. I'm going with Suhr. Stay away - I get the first one !!

With the marketing shit splatter at J/C I have been on a heavy Suhr bender recently. I have two custom orders just about ready.
Looks like I might add a third now!!! rock on.

Do they do graphics? Snakeskin, Bengal, Bullseye or camo?

For graphics they send out to a custom paint shop. The link is on the Surh web site.

Congrats! I will be doing some insane orders with Suhr and Matt with graphics as soon as the American judicial system finally releases my partner's multi-millions and we are back in business. Not another dime to FMIC.

                      I'd like a 24 fret Suhr.

I have played a bunch of Suhr's and the quality is second to none. Just one problem I have, is they seem almost plasticy feeling and sounding to me. I cant put it in words. Just seem's like they never get that broken in feeling to them. They make incredible quilt and flame tops.

I own a Suhr now, and have had about four others. The best, in my opinion. The most comfortable strats I have ever played. The Vintage C necks or the medium C ones are incredible. Hard for me to pick up anything else.
