So if it's a GOOD '71...seeing the current rate, between 3,500 and 4,500 if it's mint? Not sure.
If you don't like it, don't buy it.

I would nned more details on the electronics, original? original solder? neck condition? original frets? fret wear? type of matgerial used on refin? Without more details and pics, any guess from $700-$2400 is plausible.

a 71 would indeed be more in the range of eur 4000 these days, 79's already go for eur 1500 and up to the 71's are the highest valued cbs strats
