    ya, the Kramer Elliot Easton model. Charvel/Jackson defnitely borrowed some features to compete with that. Greco had a model called the Boogie that was similar too. I think there may have been another company too..I can't recall it off hand tho.

        Quite the contrary, it's the other way around. Elliot Easton himself admitted in an interview that he pretty much copied it from Jeff Beck's orange Jackson Soloist. Here's an excerpt:

        "At one time, you had a Kramer signature model guitar.

        ...Looks-wise, I was inspired at the time by that orange Jackson guitar Jeff Beck was playing around the time of his Flash album..."

        And the Charvel Spectrum model was pretty much an import version based on JB's guitar, too.

        Cool guitars, nontheless. I always dug the white Kramer Imperial (I think) he played in one of the Cars videos, too.

              Ooops I never owned a Robin, and I always got their names mixed up. You are correct the Ranger was the Spectrum type.
