I really like it. Got here yesterday. As with every PRS I have owned, I really think it takes a little bit to warm up to the pickups. Its happened to me every single time, because they really do have their own vibe going on. Definitely a modern tone.
Great neck, great frets. Grabbed this used off of Ebay so it has a few tiny scratches, BUT, you could not own this guitar for more than a week and NOT leave eveidence of playing it. Really soft finish, feels nice though.
Compared to the PS...I really cant say. I REALLY like the #7's combo that came with the Mccarty Trem Private Stock.
As a side note and small message to JCMI. This ME, although I bought it used south of $4k, would run you $5k (approx) new. The craftsmanship, attention to detail and artistry that goes into making this guitar makes a bolt on, graphic'd strathead look like a grade school art project. Did I mention it has a SOLID Brazillian rosewood neck?
Do you REALLY want to charge $10k list for your Charvels? List on a Modern Eagle is $8k btw.
Come on Charvel..get real.
