Ken Lawrence guitars?

Hi

I remember seeing James Hetfield playing a different Explorer (from his ESP's) and it was an all natural wood looking Explorer. I just did some research and it's made by a guy named Ken Lawrence.

I've been seeing some pics of different colours and versions and they look great, but apparently this guys doesn't have a website or way of contact to know about pricing and stuff like that, options, etc.

Anybody here knows about this?

He used to have a working website, not sure why it's not up now.

Try SYL on the ESP forums, he has had a bunch of Explorers made.

Ken Lawrence works for Mesa/Boogie, he's also a bass player and mainly builds basses, but he will build the occasional guitar.

Cool. Are we talking super expensive here? Is there a way to order something from him ?

I think they were around 5K a few years ago, which was a huge amount. Now that doesn't seem like so much
