RG550 paint

I have a RG550 thats painted a Samon color.
I'm planning on painting it a new color.
What type of paint is used on these?
Sn# F 766960
I don't plan on stripping it, just wet sandind with 600g.
Thoughts?

That color is cool. Its a classic 550 color.

That is very cool don't paint it.JMO but 550's in odd colors like that bring some good money.

No, strip it, paint it Laser blue or Loch Ness Green, put a black pickguard on it, put matching pickups. Make it a REAL 550.

Seems to be the Michael Fath Signature sofa, too. Those two colors match pretty well.

Anyway, thats a good color for a shred guitar, Id leave it that way. Especially since you even have the matching shred couch to play on. Id call that the basic shred-set: pink guitar and a couch.

Shred-sofa, like I said. You need them so you dont lift off.

Thats our sofa with seatbelts.
My wife uses them when I give here a ride.
Ok, I'll keep the color. Other than a few half dozen
small to very small chips in the paint it's in pretty good shape.
