  • Epiphone Les Paul - Pickguard

I just got a new guitar, an Epiphone Classic Les Paul. I didn't realize they came without the pickguard installed. Should I just leave it off and avoid drilling holes in the guitar body? Personal Preference?

If I do decide to do it, any good pointers on how to drill the holes so I don't crack the finish beyond where the screws will go?

The guitar looks really sharp without the pickguard.. just not sure how it will look after it gets some mileage.

    Thanks!

place tape over the spots where you are going to drill, go slowly and take your time mock up the piece where you like it and give it a whirl.
"slappy, slappy" bill sings, happily, as he dick slaps random people on the streets of Cleveland.
